We are a 100% volunteer organization that relies on the support of parents, family, and friends of SRVLL to provide the best experience for our youth. We encourage anyone with the desire to use their skills/expertise and time to contact us. We’re happy to answer your questions and to provide the training and support you need to be an effective volunteer.

In connection with team formation, volunteers will be needed for the following:

• Head Coach/Manager

  • Communicate with parents to inform them of League expectations, scheduling, and League activities and events.

  • Maintain overall responsibility for team practices and game preparation.

  • Attend mandatory SRVLL clinics and training.

• Assistant Coach

  • Attend mandatory SRVLL clinics and training.

  • Skill instruction and training for players in line with the Manager’s practice plan(s).

  • Assist the Manager with game responsibilities (base coach, dugout coordination, field prep, cleanup).

  • Manage the team in the absence of the Manager.

• Team Parent

  • Assist with team photos, paperwork needs, organizing social events, and snacks.

• Scorekeeper

  • At the higher divisions, scorekeepers use the free GameChanger app to record game scores. Each team should have a minimum of 2 scorekeepers with at least 1 backup.

• Field Setup and Breakdown

  • Some fields require the movement of temporary fences, pitching mounds, or bases. We greatly appreciate your assistance with keeping our facilities clean and ready for play.
