SRV 9U Takes Home Gold at TVLL’s Pack Memorial Tournament

This past Thursday, the San Ramon Valley Little League 9U All-Star Team defeated Pleasanton Little League 7-4 to capture 1st place in the annual Tassajara Valley Little League Pack Memorial Tournament at Sycamore Fields in Danville, CA.

Their journey to the finals included besting other District 57 rivals Danville Little League, Livermore Little League, Granada Little League, and Dublin Little League.

Chase R. led the way for the 9’s both on the mound and at the plate, pitching 3.2 innings with 4 strikeouts and giving up only 1 unearned run, while also going 2 for 2 with 2 RBI and scoring once.

The win not only earned the SRV 9’s the 1st place trophy, but also capped off an impressive tournament showing where they went 5-0 and outscored their opponents 40 to 21. It was a strong statement by the promising group of 9 year olds in what was their first summer tournament of all-star baseball for SRVLL.
