SRV Wins the 2024 District 57 10u Championship

The San Ramon Valley Little League 10u District Team captured the District 57 Championship by defeating Granada Little League 1-0 in a thrilling pitcher’s dual on a hot Monday evening at Athan Downs Park in San Ramon—securing SRV’s first district title since 2002.

District 57 is comprised of SRV, Danville, Tassajara Valley, Bollinger Canyon, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore and Granada little leagues. The 12-man roster went undefeated in the district tournament, previously defeating Bollinger Canyon 12-3, Tassajara Valley 13-2 and Pleasanton 11-1.

The team will now compete for the Section 3 championship against Alpine Little League (Menlo Park/Woodside), Newark, and the eventual District 45 winner, with the Section 3 champion moving on to play for the Northern California title.

A huge congratulations to the following players and coaches:

Blake A., Jackson A., Hudson B., Brantley B., Ryan B., Miles C., Luke G., Mason H., Dane I., Milo K., Camden K., Michael P., and coaches Gus Panagotacos, John Audino, Greg Isom, and Leonard Hall.

The new SRVLL leadership team has set the bar high for our refreshed league. And while it may take time for SRVLL to climb back to its greatest heights (U.S. titles in 1978 and 1991 at the Little League World Series in Williamsport), winning a District title for the first time in over 20 years is a significant step towards re-establishing SRVLL as a dominant force in California Little League.
